Dave Curtis Carpentry - Services

Welcome

Hello, I’m Dave Curtis, and I’ve been working in the building and carpentry trade for over 40 years. I’m based right here in Newton Abbot and I cover Kingsteignton, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Bovey Tracey, and the wider South Devon area.

Whether you need a full kitchen fitted, a loft converted into a bedroom, or just a door that’s been sticking for months finally sorted out — I’m your man. I genuinely mean it when I say no job is too small. I get just as much satisfaction from fixing a dodgy bit of skirting board as I do from building someone an extension.

I’ve built my reputation on doing what I say I’ll do. I turn up when I say I will, I do a proper job, and I leave things clean and tidy when I’m done. That might sound like it should be the bare minimum, but I know from talking to customers that it’s not always the experience people have had with tradespeople. I take real pride in being someone you can trust in your home.
I’d love to hear about your project, however big or small. Give me a ring or drop me a message — I’m always happy to have a chat and give you an honest idea of what’s involved. There’s never any obligation.

What I Can Help You With
New Carpentry Projects — Bespoke shelving, fitted furniture, staircases, decking, and more. If it’s made of timber, I can build it.

Carpentry Repairs — Rotten window sills, broken fence panels, creaky floors, damaged doors. No repair is too small.

Roofing — Roof repairs, replacement tiles and slates, fascias, soffits, and guttering.

Kitchens — Full kitchen installations, worktop replacements, and custom kitchen carpentry.

Bedrooms — Fitted wardrobes, built-in storage, and bespoke bedroom furniture.
Extensions — Single and double-storey home extensions managed from start to finish.

Loft Conversions — Transform your unused loft space into a beautiful new room.

Thinking about a project? I’d love to hear from you. Whether it’s something you’ve been putting off for ages or a big idea you’ve been planning, give me a call and let’s have a chat about it. No pressure, no hard sell — just honest advice from someone who’s been doing this for four decades.
